Vamsi Chaitanya Pedasanaganti, Ph.D., is an early-career researcher, inquisitive journalist, and award-winning media educator with a background in Media and Communication. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Kean University in New Jersey, United States, where he teaches courses on News Literacy, Mobile Journalism (MoJo) and advises the student newspaper The Tower.
Dr. Vamsi earned his Doctorate degree in Media and Communication from Bowling Green State University, focusing on Indian environmental activism. Before entering academia, he worked as a journalist with BBC News India, contributing to a range of projects in fact-checking, video production, and multilingual field reporting.
Combining academic rigor with real-world newsroom experience, Vamsi seeks to drive change through critical research and compelling storytelling. Beyond the classroom, he is also an avid photographer and documentary filmmaker.
